Meet The Editors

Ashley Pattison-Scott is a queer writer living on Lenape Land (Brooklyn, NY). Currently, she is a Randall Jarrell Fellow and MFA Candidate at Sarah Lawrence College.

Nirvana Shahriar is a MA/PhD student in English at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Origins

Nirvana and Ash met as English majors at the University of California, Berkeley. They shared a mutual wonder for literature, culture, and bookstores––specifically the beloved Berkeley bookstore whose name inspired this magazine, University Press Books | Ten Thousand Minds on Fire.
