Alex Corbett: “Untitled”

Alex Corbett paints cartoonish, pneumatic shapes with a self-conscious illusive realness, and a meaty Gustonian weight. She is interested in '90s computer game graphics from her childhood, the pervasiveness of plastic products in anthropocene life, and the seductive visceral relationships we have with virtual objects. She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
